Tapestry House by Wedgewood Weddings might just be the most charming venue around! This colorful Victorian mansion has all the accommodations you could need for a day that’s uniquely your own. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I get the chance to explore some of the top venues around. Here is what you can expect with a wedding at the Tapestry House!

About The Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings

3212 North Overland Trail, Laporte, Colorado 80535

Tapestry House is a historic manor full of vintage charm. The house has faced quite a number of renovations over the years, but it got its start back in 1870 when Iowa ranchers fell in love with the Colorado wilderness (and honestly, who could blame them!) The manor served as a family home for over a century until it was purchased in 1984. It was at that time that the new owners started its transformation while still using original styles and methods to recreate the classic charm. The result is a vintage spot with all the modern accommodations you could need for a 21st-century shindig.

Details of the Grounds

When you book Tapestry House, your day is going to start inside in one of the multiple get-ready suites. These areas are both spacious and adorable, giving you the perfect backdrop for your pictures.

Most couples choose to use the backyard gazebo for their ceremony. This is the crowning jewel amidst the five-acre garden! You will walk through the ivy-draped arch to the lawn where your guests will be comfortably seated on chairs atop the pavement. The area features a high fence and towering trees to give you the feeling of privacy.

Once you have a brand new ring on your finger, your guests will head over to the patio where they can enjoy drinks while taking a view of the gorgeous grounds. From there, you will have your reception on the pavilion where string lights will add the feeling of romantic ambiance. This area is tented to keep you safe from the elements. Tapestry House can host up to 225 guests, making it a great option for parties of all sizes!
