Wellshire Event Center first opened its doors in 1926 at the heart of the breathtaking Wellshire Golf Course. While the venue is ready for your modern wedding, it carries all the original vintage charm first created a century ago. With its original fixtures and its commitment to lavish events, your wedding is going to be the stuff of legends! 

Details of the Grounds

Wellshire Event Center knows what it takes to throw an unforgettable wedding, and they have everything you could possibly need. At the beginning of your celebration, you will have access to a bridal suite and a groom’s room where you can get ready for the day. 

For your ceremony, you are going to have several options. Couples who prefer an outdoor wedding will be able to use the gardens, where you will have the verdant golf course as your backdrop. If you would prefer an indoor ceremony, you can use the Windsor Room, where you can exchange your vows on a raised stage with sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows. Another popular option is the Onyx Lounge, where you will have high vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, and an original elephant ear fan to set the mood.  For those who want the views of the outdoors with complete climate control, you can use the Mountain View Room, complete with glass walls and decadent draping. 

For your cocktail hour, your guests can head out to the yard where they can play lawn games and sip on signature cocktails. 

Your night will end with an indoor reception. Most parties take place in the Cambridge Room, a newer addition that never skimps on elegance. Arched windows show off the views while the black raftered ceiling adds a touch of industrial charm. Wellshire is able to accommodate up to 300 guests for your wedding.

Wellshire has so many picture-perfect spaces for your wedding! Most couples choose to take both individual and couple’s portraits outside. Here, you’ll find backdrops like bridges, colorful gardens, and the golf green. The green will also be ideal for group portraits, while the front of the venue is a dream for your send-off!

Wellshire is going to spoil you throughout your entire day! The venue offers an on-site coordinator who will keep your wedding moving smoothly. You will have 8-hour venue access beginning with drinks in the get-ready suites. Their team will also take care of all the food and the drinks, plus they can take care of the tables, the chairs, the linens, and basic centerpieces.
